As Suzuki is currently working on mid-life updates of its flagship Vitara SUV. The Suzuki Vitara Series II has been leaked online on a government website ahead of its official reveal, giving us a first look of the updated SUV before it goes on sale.
As the SUV is an updated version of the previous Suzuki Vitara we might not get major changes all around but compare to the previous version, various new changes have been made to the car to make it more refreshed.
As seen in the pictures certain small changes have been made on new front grill and bumper. Apart from this, new Autonomous Emergency Breaking Radar sensors can also be given for good breaking system. The SUV’s front bumper will have a dual running light housing with FOX brushed aluminium bits. At the rear, a new set of tail-lights will be fitted which are a darker shade of red, and the reversing light has been relocated from the tail-light clusters to the centre of the rear bumper. Also, a new design will be given in the Car Alloy Wheel.
Talking about the interior of the car, Vitara Series II will be given a little different dashboard with an updated infotainment system.
Vitara SUV’s facelift would be equipped with a boosting 1.0-litre and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The engine is capable of churning out 109 bhp power, while the bigger one will kick out 138 bhp of peak power and 220 Nm of torque. Transmission options will include both manual and automatic units, while a new feature “ALLGRIP” has also been installed where the four-wheel-drive system will certainly enhance the driving charm.
Nothing about the pricing has been revealed till now but it will remain close to its previous version.
