New financial year bring new car prices with up-gradation in car models and with new registration. To get rid of older stock of 2017 vehicle models, dealers are offering sizable discounts on older models. The size of these discounts makes these
models worth a look, despite them being older versions.
You can get up to Rs 10 lakh on the A6 and Rs 8 lakh on the smaller A3 sedan. It is available with a 1.8-litre turbo-petrol engine of 190hp, and a 2.0-litre diesel motor of 191hp, both in line with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The next-gen A6 was shown at the 2018 Geneva motor show and will make its way here by early 2019.
You can get the 740Li Pure Design Excellence petrol, which costs Rs 1.28 crore, with discounts of Rs 12.5 lakh. It is available with a 326hp and 450Nm of torque produced by a 3.0-litre, in-line, six-cylinder engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The company is also offering discounts worth Rs 9 lakh on the 320d Prestige, which costs Rs 37.8 lakh.
To get rid of stock of the pre-facelift EcoSport, the company is offering up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Prices for the pre-facelift car used to start at Rs 7.76 lakh. There are discounts of up to Rs 1.75 lakh on its Endeavour SUV, which costs Rs 26.02 lakh to tackle with the rivals Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and the Toyota Fortuner.
You can get up to Rs 1 lakh off on the pre-facelift and now-discontinued i20 hatchback models that some dealers still have in their stock. Discounts are being offered to give close competition to Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Honda Jazz. The new i20 was launched at the 2018 Auto Expo and it will soon feature a CVT automatic in the 1.2-litre petrol model to help the model benefit from duty reductions.
There are lots of deals and discounts, which go up to Rs 1.2 lakh, available on the Ciaz. Prices for Maruti’s mid-size sedan start at Rs 8.04 lakh.

The pre-facelifted version of the S-class costs Rs 1.33 crore and you can get as much as Rs 12 lakh off on the sticker price. The pre-facelift models are fitted with 3.0-litre V6 petrol (333hp) and diesel (258hp) motors.
You can get discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh for the Superb sedan, which costs from Rs 25.12 lakh. Discounts are being offered to give close competition to competes against the likes of the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Discounts vary from city
