The Honda WR-V was launched in India back in the year 2017 during September month. While the car is on fire and it is seen from the sales mark so achieved. It seems like the competitors need to catch up early so as to be in the race. Some of the prominent car manufacturers who is in the race is Maruti Suzuki (Vitatra Brezza), Ford Eco-Sport, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra KUV 300. The car variants are available on both Petrol and Diesel.
Now with so much in the car, the car made it and achieved a new milestone with the selling of 50,000 units of the car. The Honda WR-V contribution accounts to 29 percent in HCIL’s overall sales in 2017-18. The highest variant that was sold was the VX one with the 80% of the sales coming from the total. The demand for Diesel also rises up and had a contribution of 58% share from the total sales and that of petrol is 42%.
As per the officials, the company can achieve such sales chart in the future as they distributed fairly enough to each dealer of the car in the market. The demands of a car was a bit higher in the urban areas (Tire I) than in the semi-rural areas( Tire II and Tire III) with a 38% share in Tire I and 30% and 32% in Tire II and Tire III respectively.
