Jeep has brought out a new special edition, the limited-run model of its Compass SUV, called the Bedrock edition, at Rs 17.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Only available on the diesel engine, the Bedrock is based on the base Sport trim but gets more equipment and cosmetic changes inside and outside. Jeep has launched the model to celebrate 25,000 units sold of the Compass.
On the outside, the bedrock edition is available in the three shades that are vocal white, Minimal grey, and the exotica red. It gets the black finished 16-inch alloy wheels along with the decals on the doors and black roof rails. The insides of the car get Bedrock badged seat covers and the all new floor mats. It is also equipped with the 5-inch infotainment system doubles as a reversing camera with dynamic guidance.
The model gets the standard equipment such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD stability and traction control, the four-wheel disc brakes, power adjust and the folding wing mirrors and an electric parking brake too.
The brand only offers the compass bedrock edition with the 173 hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine which sends power to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
In India, the Jeep is expected to bring the Trail Rated version of the compass to India soon and is also expected to bring the Rena gade facelift to the market.

A stiff body structure combined with a responsive steering system add up to an excellent handling with the maximum control. HEATED exterior mirrors, windshield, wiper deicers are also available in the car giving it an edge over other cars.
The SUV is priced at Rs.17.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). AT this pricing the special edition slots between the sport which is RS.16.55 lakh and longitude which is RS.17.87 lakh.
