Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new model to its Ertiga MPV line-up. Called the Limited Edition, the model is based on the mid-spec V trim and is available with the same petrol and diesel engine options as the standard Ertiga but gets cosmetic changes outside and in. It is priced at Rs 7.80 lakh for the petrol and Rs 9.71 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the Limited Edition about Rs 13-14,000 costlier than the standard V trim.
Cosmetic additions to the exterior consist of alloy wheels, side moulding and fog lamp bezel both with a chrome finish and of course ‘Limited edition’ badges. The interiors have new dashing colours of Exquisite Maroon, Silky Grey and Superior White. The dark red seat covers with white borders, ambient lighting, a front centre armrest, faux-wood centre console inlay and a dual-tone steering cover all together make the interiors look gorgeous.

The new model is available in petrol and diesel versions both and is based on the mid-spec V trim. The engines too remain the same with a five-speed manual but the petrol version is also available with four-speed automatic gearbox if opted for.
The 92 hp, 1.4-litre petrol version is available for 7.80 lakhs whereas the 90 hp, 1.3-litre diesel one is there for 9.71 lakhs ( ex-showroom ). With a small extra price of around Rs 13,000 to Rs14,000, the Limited Edition Ertiga with enhanced features is a good buy.
