Maruti Suzuki “swift” has been one of the best selling cars in India. Maruti Suzuki is planning to delight its customers by divulging the brand new third-generation Maruti Suzuki swift sport across the country. But for the over-excited potential buyers, the news is not yet over! It is highly anticipated that along with swift sport (both in petrol and diesel variants) Maruti Suzuki might launch the Hybrid version of the all-new swift. It is expected that the new Maruti Suzuki hatchback swift sport will be priced between INR 5-8 lacks.
As per the leaked reports, the petrol variant might witness an engine displacement of 1.4l turbocharged booster jet petrol that will churn out the same 138 bhp and can generate the maximum torque of 230 Nm. In the diesel variant, we might witness an engine displacement of 1.3l. Both petrol and diesel engines will be mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. The option of 6AMT might be also available.
REVAMPED AESTHETICS ON EXTERIORS AND INTERIORS
The central console of the limited Maruti Suzuki hatchback swift sport is embedded with a modish touch screen infotainment system, supporting Apple Car Play and Android Auto along with Bluetooth connectivity. The hood of the car is refurbished and has got stylish motifs along with new decals on the doors and roofs. The cabin of the car seems more spacious and elegant with the matching upholstery and the steering wheel. The front grille is pristine and is flanked by the LED headlamps.

Although, we have not come across through any official statement by the car makers regarding the launch of Hybrid swift, but as per the leaked reports both Hybrid and sport swift will be unveiled in Auto expo 2018 . It is anticipated that we will witness an engine displacement of 1.2L, 4- cylinder petrol engine in Hybrid swift that can churn out the maximum power of 83 BHP at 6,000 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 4,000 revolutions per minute. It will be mated to a 10-kW electric motor along with a 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission).
