Volvo to launch its SUV XC 40 designed on the more exquisite XC 90
At an affordable price of Rs 5 lakh, Volvo will be offering 200 units of XC 40 to customers in India. Expected to be on sale from the 4th of July, the Swedish car giant will present only the R-Design variant and the diesel engine to buyers here. With the all-wheel standard drive, the 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox may give 190 hp of power.
The latest offering by Jeep India is a modified version of the Compass SUV, the Trailhawk. The launch may take place anytime in mid-July. The more off-road focused, the Trailhawk will be the only one with a diesel engine with nine-speed automatic transmission. The output will be 170.6 bhp and 350Nm torque of the same 2.0 liter MultiJet diesel engine.
Skid plates raised suspension and dual purpose on/off road tires are some of the features to brag about in the Compass Trailhawk by Jeep India. A new ‘Rock Mode’for the Selec-Terrain 4WD system and an Active Drive Low-Range 4WD system are the other add-ons to boast of.
Design Editions of Audi Q3 and Q7 in July

July will see the launch of Porsche 911 GT2 RS
Priced at an ex-showroom cost of Rs 3.88 crore, Porsche is all set to launch its high-performance sports car, 911 GT2 RS. The twin-turbocharged 3.8 liters, the flat-six engine can build an amazing 686bhp of maximum power and an unbelievable 750nm of optimum torque. The 911 GT2 can speed up to a 100 kmph from zero in 2.8 sec flat. The lightweight two-seater weighs just 1,470 kg. With a topmost speed of 340 kmph, the rear-wheel-drive coupe is expected to be available on July 10.
