RANGE ROVER VELAR
The Range Rover Velar awaited to welcome in India has got a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and can make it debut at the 2018 Auto Expo with the price range from Rs 75 lakh to 1 crore. he Velar has two diesel engine options, D180 and D300, and one petrol engine option, P250, on offer. While the D180 is a 2.0-litre diesel engine which produces 180 PS and 430 Nm, the D300 is a 3.0-litre diesel engine which churns out 300PS and 700 Nm. The p250 petrol engine is a 2.0-litre unit that produces 250PS of power and 365 Nm of torque. All the engines are coupled to the same 8-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels.

Nissan is also going to step in the SUV segment release this year by launching X-Trail Hybrid. Unwrapped at 2016 Auto Expo is making its way soon to showrooms. It’s quirky looks of LED headlamps got to the extreme with the presence of ‘v’ chrome accent on the grille.The unique looking three-spoke steering wheel gets a silver accent which matches those on the centre console and the door pads.The third generation X-Trail will get seven-seat layout allowing seven occupants to be seated inside. There’s a 2-litre, in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine paired to a 31kW electric motor for a total power output of around 180bhp.An electric motor will also be fitted inside. Transmission duties might be carried out by a CVT gearbox. Besides, the SUV will also house Nissan’s electric all-wheel drive system.
