Audi RS5 Coupe has been launched in India at Rs 1.1 crore (ex-showroom). The car has been spied on Indian roads earlier for testing. The RS5 is the high-performance version of the Audi A5 coupé and also debuts the coupé body style of the latest-gen A5 in India. The car is already on sale in international markets.
Talking about the appearance of the car, the new Audi RS5 gets wider wheel arches than its predecessor. It also gets large signature single-frame grille at the front along with 19-inch wheels. The new coupe also gets digital instrument cluster and other interiors similar to A5.
Under the hood, the new Audi RS5 coupe gets a smaller 2.9-litre TFSI twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 444 bhp of power and churns out 600 Nm of peak torque. As compared to the last generation, the new Audi RS5 coupe torque output has gone up by 170Nm. The new RS5 can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and reach the top speed of 250km/h. The car can also be equipped with an RS Dynamic Package which increases the top speed to 280 km/h.
2.9 TFSI quattro 331(450) kW(hp) tiptronic
In terms of interior, there will be enough RS-spec elements to tell you this is a performance car. Sports seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Alcantara leather upholstery, sports pedals and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument system with RS highlights are the few elements that will distinguish the RS5 from the standard A5 models.
