The first version of Ford Aspire was seen in the Indian market in 2015 and now car makers are planning to launch the new and modified version of Aspire this year. With the production of the current model coming to an end, the company could be making way for the Ford Aspire facelift. The company has announced the launch of the new Aspire which will be most probably in the June end or July starting this year. Before that, Ford will launch the Freestyle, which is a crossover based on the new upcoming Ford Figo.
As per the sources, companies are planning to redefine the interior and the exterior of the car. Being inspired by the new upcoming Figo and the Freestyle’s look company will make changes in the Aspire as well. Aspire would get a newfangled look to grab the attention of the car buyers. There will be changes in the interior to make it more comfortable to drive and attractive in terms of looks.There will be SYNC3 infotainment system with floating screen, similar to the EcoSport. The new Ford Aspire will soon enter the production before the deliveries start in mid-2018.
The company is quite advanced and had already started taking advanced bookings for the car at its dealerships from July 27 at a nominal amount of Rs 30,000. Figo is looking forward toward the success of the Aspire and also is planning to enter into high growth compact sedan segment which is dominated by Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda Cars and Tata Motors.
The Figo Aspire will be available with both petrol and diesel engines, and in four variants- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, and Titanium+. The car is designed specifically for India – will have the smart technology, advanced safety features and powerful and efficient engines.
The path of Aspire is not clear yet, it will have to face challenges from the upcoming Honda Amaze will be launched next month in India. There are various other competitors waiting for the launch of Aspire, where Swift Dzire is leading the segment with the highest car sales figure. Car makers in order to make it an iconic car, have to work harder on the engine and looks and other aspects of the car. In order to withstand in this competition, the Aspire has to be really good in all aspects.
