There are lot of speculations mounting regarding the different sedans and compact SUVs that Japanese car manufacturer Honda might launch in 2018. Honda might unveil the Facelifts and brand new variants in the Auto Expo 2018. Here is a list of the cars that we might see in 2018 on Indian streets.
If we talk about the History of Civic in India, it was brought to India in its 8th generation with more luxurious interiors and drop dead gorgeous aesthetics. Honda Civic was one of the most renowned sedans in India. Gradually with time, the demand for diesel cars proliferated and the sales of the petrol cars dwindled, resulting in the discontinuation of Civic.

The new generation Honda Civic will be entering the Indian automobile Industry and it is speculated that Honda might divulge new generation Civic at the Auto Expo. The car will be available for both diesel and petrol variants.
Under the hood, we will witness an engine displacement of 1.8 L in petrol variant and 1.6 L in diesel variant.
The car will stand against Hyundai Elantra and Skoda Octavia in the sedan segment.
It is anticipated that the price of the new generation Civic will start from the base price of INR 13 lacks.
The history has been rancid for CRV in India. The third-gen and fourth-gen CRV did not do wonders as it sales went on dwindling in the past. There were many factors which were responsible for that as in high prices, an absence of diesel variant, tough competition.

Honda is launching 7-seater in 2018 with the option of diesel variant as well which was considered a major hindrance to its success. The whole cabin of the car is all spruced up with innovative features such as remote engine start, USB charging ports for the second row, heated wing mirrors etc.
Under the hood, we will witness an engine displacement of 2.4 L in petrol that will churn the maximum power of 190 hp and in diesel variant, we have 1.6 L twin turbo unit that can proffer an output 158hp at 4,000rpm and 350Nm at 2,000rpm.The engine will be with a nine-speed AMT from ZF.
The petrol variant of CRV is anticipated to start from INR 23 lacks while the diesel variant might start from INR 25 lacks.
In the compact SUV segment, pristine CRV will face competition from Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster.
Japanese car manufacturers have already commenced the hybrid version of Accord in 2016 but the car is not widely recognized. Already on sale in U.S, the 10th generation Accord might be launched in India in 2018. Honda has high expectations from this variant.
The car will perpetuate with the hybrid powertrain that will generate the maximum output of 212 ps@6200rpm and a torque of 315 Nm@4000rpm and I s mated with eCVT transmission in India.
It is anticipated that the price of the new generation Accord will range from INR 40 to 45 lacks.
The car will stand against Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry Skoda Octavia in the sedan segment.
The launch of this car in 2018 is tentative. There are so many speculations regarding this compact SUV as Honda will come up with CRV that is also the car of the same segment. If this car gets divulged in 2018, it will be stacked above WR-Vand below CR-V.
It might have the same engine as embedded in Honda city.
