Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) has launched the KUV100 Trip, a new variant of its compact SUV, starting at Rs 5.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The variant is available to customers in white and silver color options.
Cab industry might get a new compact SUV vehicle because KUV 100 is the only 6-seater vehicle available in the segment, making it ideal for cab business. To promote the vehicle, Mahindra is offering special finance schemes, accessory packages and an extended 5-year warranty on the vehicle.
The new variant is ideally suited for fleet/cab services and business owners and will be available in both bi-fuel (petrol and CNG) and diesel mFalcon engine options, the company said in a statement.

Talking about the KUV100 Trip, M&M Head of sales and marketing, automotive division, Veejay Nakra said that with its Flexi 6-seater option, spacious legroom, low operating cost, catchy price and high yielding potential, the KUV100 Trip is set to be a popular choice with fleet owners as well as aggregators in the object of mobility space.
The bi-fuel variant will run on both petrol and CNG fuel. This is the first time that KUV 100 is offering the CNG version. The bi-fuel engine is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine that generates a maximum of 82 Bhp and 115 Nm. The diesel engine is a 1.2-litre unit that has an output of 77 Bhp and peak torque of 190 Nm. Both the engines get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.
