Debuted at Geneva Motor show in March 2017, “Volvo XC60” was about to launch in Diwali. Now, putting an end to all the speculations, “Volvo” has asserted that the people can enjoy on this luxurious and butch looking premium SUV before the advent of 2018. Only the fully loaded inspection trim variant will be launched this year and currently, no other variant will be launched.
Before we jump onto the stunning interior, we will focus on what is there under the hood of this car. Under the hood of this car, we will witness that the brand new XC60 has a lot in common with its big brother XC90. “XC60” will be launched in India in its top-end inscription trim with an engine displacement of 2.0 l, 4 cylinders diesel D5 variant that will generate 235hp and a transmission of 8-speed automatic.
INTERIORS AND INNOVATIVE FEATURES
If we focus on the upholstery of the seats then we will witness Nappa leather upholstery, spacious cabin resembling that of XC90 and copious space in the leg rest area. The car is adorned with 9- inches infotainment system which gives you instant access to in car-tech, music, connectivity, itinerary information etc.
The driver will have the privilege to drive the car on different drive modes such as Eco, Comfort, off-Road and Dynamic. The brand new XC60 gets adaptive cruise control and Pilot Assist.
COMPETITION AMONG THE CARS OF THE SAME SEGMENT
We will witness stringent competition amongst the same segment cars of different brands and the launch of this car is expected to affect the likes of Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC, and BMW X3.
The price is expected to be in the range of Rs 52-55 lacks.
