Audi adds yet another lining to its Q7 model by adding the petrol engine into the limelight which will now commonly known as Audi Q7 40 TFSI. Though the model was supposed to be launched by September 1 it finally got launched on 4th September finally ending everyone’s most awaited wait. This model which represents the USP of Audi will be now available in 2 models of petrol and engine to make it more accessible.
Priced at 67 lakhs this model is expected to hit Indian roads soon and will be worth to spend money for. The best feature about this model is that it reaches 0-100 mph in a span of 6.9 seconds making it worth a watch. This also contains 2 litre 4 cylinder which even reaches a torque of 370 Nm,
According to Audi officials, this model will also mark the start of Luxury SUV model which has a petrol engine leading to the high market capture and more demand.
The model just like its diesel counterpart is having the “Audi Parking System which also covers the whole 360-degree camera view to let the drivers enjoy the comfort of driving without much trouble. This Audi version is also expected to have Matrix LED with the daytime lights which are the feature of almost all Audi models now. The model also contains electronically controlled air suspension which also includes the dampener. The panoramic sunroof is also another added feature that will make this version look more stylish than the other SUV segments. The model is also having the alloy wheels adding to long list of features it has. Audi this time has also put in efforts to change the exteriors of the model to give it more of an athletic look. More over the model is expected to be launched in 5 versions which include White, Silver, Black, Blue and Grey.
The model is also having a virtual cockpit which will also have 12.3- inch high definition touch screen with an apple car play and a smart phone interface adding more grace to the interior features of the model. The model also contains a wireless mobile charging system with a 3d-surround system for the music competency.
As far the market competition goes this 7seater Audi model will also compete with the petrol versions of Mercedes Benz GLE 400, BMW X5 35. Another feature in this model even includes that it is 325 kg lighter than the previous model which shows the development of new aging chassis made from Aluminium. The model looks sharper and even has a very good ground clearance of 235 mm.
The loose in weight doesn’t mean that Audi has compromised on the luxury segment; features such as Audi drive selects with air suspension also makes the model look unique. The model with the unique and diversified features will surely capture the market as soon as it gets driven on the Indian roads adding to bringing more benefits to the SUV petrol segment of AUDI.
