Maserati once again made its way in India by launching the world’s fastest luxury sedan, 2018 Maserati Quattroporte GTS. This brute comes with high speed, spacious comfort and breathtaking Italian style. Continuing its success legacy, it was first showcased at 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Unwrapping a new destiny of comfort with speed, it will cost around Rs. 2.70 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). So WHAT’S NEW? Like many new 2018 cars generate, 2018 Maserati Quattroporte comes with a few changes and a series of unique events.
Exterior Design of Quattroporte GTS
The new sedan model has a sporty look, as it has strong modern curves in their outer edges of the body. At the rear, who does not know much change because it will be equipped with the same taillights well designed and the rectangular quad exhaust pipes twisted with attractive accents. The new luxury sedan will be lighter than its predecessor due to the extensive use of carbon fibre for its body construction. Although not yet confirmed by the automaker, the larger screen could aim for the new infotainment system derived from Google Android, already recently in the sedan Maserati Ghibli. The cabin is equipped with dashboard leather steering mounted with a LCD touch screen of 8.4 inches in size, heated seats, interior climate, a satellite navigation system, radio, a variety of driving modes, etc. He also heated seats and power back tones and all seats are upholstered in premium leather.
Engine of Quattroporte GTS
The 2018 Maserati Quattroporte comes with standard 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6 rated at 424 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque on the S and S Q4 models. A 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 with 523 hp and 524 lb-ft is only available on the range-topping Quattroporte GTS. Both engines come paired exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission. EPA fuel economy ratings are 16/23 mpg city/highway for the Quattroporte S and S Q4, and 15/22 mpg for the Quattroporte GTS.
