Toyota’s luxurious handle, Lexus, brought in its fourth model for its India range on 17th November 2017. The facelifted version of the Lexus NX SUV was revealed at the Shanghai motor show earlier this year. The India-spec Lexus NX is available with only one powertrain option, the NX300h, equipped with a 196hp, 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid configuration similar to the one seen on the Lexus ES300h sedan.
Lexus India has today announced an initial launch price starting from. 53.18 lakhs (ex-showroom) for NX 300h Luxury. Its F-Sport will be available at a starting price ofRs. 55.58 lakhs (ex-showroom).Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon and Bangalore, and Lexus authorized stores at Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi, would be the retail operational centres of Lexus.
Lexus has been very fast forward in stretching its product line-up in India, keeping the key focus on the hybrid. The brand focuses towards the launch of Lexus LS 500h premium hybrid sedan by 15th Jan 2018. Lexus has geared up for the rapid acceleration in the market here in India through aggressive pricing.
Lexus NX 300h is based on BS 6 model and runs on a 2.5 litre, 4-cylinder in-line engine that returns 145 KW max power.Its mileage is reported to be at 18.32 kmpl. NX 300h welcomes a 360° panoramic surround view monitor, a full-color heads-up display, and 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display.
President of Lexus India says that the price approach for the NX 300h is in direct relation with Government’s vision and they call it ‘one nation, one price’ making it advantageous for their guests.
