Hyundai Motors India is the country’s largest exporter of passenger cars and the second largest manufacturer. Hyundai has managed to lure customers incessantly in the past into buying its previously launched cars such as compact crossover Creta or a hatchback Eon for that matter.
Hyundai has now come up with a brand new SUV “TUCSON” 4wd and Hyundai seems to be assertive about the future of SUV “TUCSON” in an Indian market.
SUV “TUCSON” 4WD variant is prized at 25.19 Lacs (ex-showroom, New Delhi)
Including 4wd variant “TUCSON” has a total of 5 variants which have already been launched. This new 4wd diesel variant of “TUCSON” can generate 183bhp and holds the Engine displacement capacity of 2.0.
The car is expected to give the mileage of 16.4kmpl.
The 4WD system comes with ‘On Demand 4WD Functioning’ with Lock mode and Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) which assists in providing maximum torque to the wheel that has the maximum traction. With more innovative features such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Down Hill Brake Control (DBC).The 60:40 seating configuration proffers maximum comfort to the co-passengers as well.
LED headlamps, Rear stop lamps, and attractive roof rails give this SUV a stunning and modish look. Two-tone side garnish gives Hyundai Tucson a sporty yet refined look.
It will be too early to assert anything on whether “TUCSON” will taste the stupendous success as Creta did but one thing is sure that we will witness tough competition amongst “TUCSON” and its contemporaries such as “HONDA CRV”, “TOYOTA INNOVA CRYSTA”, “JEEP COMPASS” etc.
